All India Medical Students Association stands  with IMA in condemning the violence against doctors , nurses and healthcare workers and obstruction of Cremation of doctors in Chennai. Violence and insults have been a part of our profession for quite some time but denying dignity even in death is the worst thing to happen to the fraternity.

Secretary of organisation Dr. Shubham Anand mentioned

The frontline warriors are at greater risk in every part of the country and nothing less than a strong central law by Union Government will suffice. Doctors safety at this point is much important to be ensured by authorities

Doctors , and health staff are risking their life in this pandemic and has forgotten the comfort of staying at home only to make country Corona free and treatment we got in return cannot be accepted at all.

AIMSA supports IMA in its initiative to observe "White Alert"  on 22nd April and Black day on 23rd April in demand of enacting a strong Central Protection law to ensure safety of doctors. A press communication undersigned by their National President Dr Jitendra Singh & Secretary Dr. Shubham Anand stated the facts. It's mentioning that All India Medical Students Organisation is one of the largest students organisation in country with holds in different states and conducting awareness drives and raising health issues from time to time.

I support AIMSA and it's decision to stand with IMA. Strict central protection law should be made in order to protect the doctors . It's high time. Strict action should be taken immediately.
