Junior doctors from across the county will be assembling in national capital on 15th September , with a focus to discuss the major health issues affecting the healthcare structure of the country and the varied problems faced by the resident doctors.
All India Doctors Convention is planned in Delhi with these objectives in mind. As per the organisers, this is the first attempt in the history of independent India when doctors’ associations from all over the nation are uniting on a common platform to fight against common problems/issues.
To permanently put a full stop on these miscommunications and lack of unity, AIDC is envisaged to improve coordination among various independent resident doctors/In Service doctors’ organizations who are actively working towards the betterment of medical profession. The convention will work to make All India Medicos Coordination Committee which will help for future coordination and united efforts.
The major issues to be discussed during the national convention includes the controversial clauses related to recently passed NMC Bill, and further plan of action , violence in medical service centres, psychological and other problems faced by resident doctors, provisions to improve healthcare infrastructure in the country among others. The convention will also be attended by IMA National President Dr. Santanu Sen , President elect Dr Rajan Sharma and other senior leaders of medical fraternity.
