For quality work in Ayushman Yojana, Lucknow's Era Hospital bagged Skoch health award

 Lucknow based  Era Medical College has been conferred  with the prestigious SKOCH award under healthcare category. It recognizes people, projects and institutions that go the extra mile to make India a better nation. 
The Skoch Order of Merit award aims at felicitating organisations and individuals woking to deliver extraordinary healthcare services to the nation. The award was presented to Era officials at a function held in New Delhi on Friday .

The Era University received this award in the silver catagory for implementing and seamlessly executing the Ayushmann Bharat Scheme of the Govt of India, which provides medicare to the poorest of the poor free of cost by the empanelled Govt and private hospitals throughout the country. PMJAY is one of the largest public funded healthcare insurance scheme aiming to provide quality treatment to underprivileged sections.
As per reports , the hospital  happens to be the only organization among all Government & Private establishments in Uttar Pradesh to receive this award. With approx. 900 beds , the hospital is providing quality healthcare facilities to  all sections of society with state of  the art facilities.

 Speaking about the governnment initiatives in the healthcare domain Dr. Vinod K Paul, member Niti Aayog said “Today, half of India is insured & assured secondary & tertiary care by via 1395 packages and that’s a huge leap towards universal health care.”
